Established in 1982, The Cambridge Centre for Languages has an international reputation for providing quality English language courses.

Accredited by the British Council, The Centre's mission has always been to follow the aims of language learning defined in Recommendation(82) 18 of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe:

  • to facilitate communication and interaction among young people of different mother tongues
  • to promote international mobility, mutual understanding and cooperation
  • to overcome prejudice and discrimination
  • to help young people to achieve a wider and deeper understanding of the way of life and forms of thought of other peoples and of their cultural heritage
     
    Our purpose is

  • to create an international environment where our students may learn about the life and cultural heritage not only of Britain, but also of other countries.

  • to improve the overall performance of the students' English by placing special emphasis on communicative skills (communicative syllabus)

  • to enable the students to grow in self-confidence and self-reliance
