The city is home to the world famous University of Cambridge and its famous landmarks such as King’s College Chapel and the Botanic Garden. It’s easy to get around in Cambridge and it’s less than an hour by train from London. 30 minutes from Stansted airport and around 90 minutes from the major London airports.
In the summer the city is alive with visitors from all over the worldand this is a particularly good time to visit and enjoy the traditional pursuit of punting on the River Cam.

It’s such a wonderful place! I’ve been here for four weeks, and they were amazing!
We had like 2 English lessons in the afternoon or morning, first one is about grammar and different interesting topics, second one is project, you so some interesting stuff that is somehow connected with current topic, that is also about culture. The real funs begins when the activities starts, everyday you have at least afternoon or morning activity, and if you stay in residence evening one, if ur homestay – depends on the day of the week. Every activity is unique, all the CCL staff is interesting and intelligent people, always ready to help you and answer any questions.

I spent two weeks at Cambridge Center for Languages and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. I especially liked the activities in the afternoon and the excursions at the weekend. I liked the rooms very well, because of the great view. In addition, I found it pleasant to live in a single room. The SAO ‘s and teachers were good contact people and now I have the feeling that I speak English much better. Also the lessons were great fun and we learned a lot. If we had a problem we could always go to someone who helped us then. There have also been many new friendships. In addition we met people from other countrys and had great fun with them. I really liked it and so I would definitely like to come back here and enjoy another language holiday.
