His friend David is American, but lives in China. He teaches English, but can also speak Chinese.
Daria is Ukrainian, but lives in the UK. She works as an accountant.
Mei Ling is Chinese, but now lives in Italy. She goes to university there and is studying to be a doctor.
Mehmet is from Turkey, and he still lives in Istanbul, but next month he will be travelling to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for work.
And what about Mark? Mark lives in the UK, so many people think he is British, but actually Mark was born in Germany.

Write a profile about your own country. Where is it and what is it famous for?
Make a list of your favourite sports people, musicians or actors. Where are they from? What nationality are they?
Try to write as many countries and nationalities as you can. What is one thing they are famous for? (e.g. Switzerland is famous for chocolate, watches and banks).
Play the alphabet game with a friend. Start by naming a country beginning with A, then your partner should name a country beginning with B. Keep going until you can’t name any more countries. (e.g. Australia, Brazil, Canada)
